Turbo Sizes

I wanted to know if the S5 Turbo was bigger than the S4? If they are the same size, whats a smaller factory Turbo (Like a Daytona Turbo or something) than the S4/S5?

Also, will a 3rd Gen exhaust manifold work on an FC block? Like If I bought an HKS or something aftermarket manifold for an FD, will it fit an FC block? Or even used Twins off an FD, anyone tried this before?

The stock TII turbo is an HT-18. Any HT number smaller than 18 is a smaller turbo.

IMO it's a waste of time. If the stock FD twins were so great, the FD owners wouldn't dump them for a better single-turbo kit. The modern Garrett GT-R turbos spool so fast that a twin-turbo setup is a thing of the past. Also, if you think the stock TII setup takes a long time to spool, then you haven't driven one.

Thread cleaned up.

1. The original poster should have searched. A nice reminder telling him that this has been covered 10,000 times in the past two months would have been all that was necessary.

2. "Search NOOB" is not an acceptable response.

3. Flaming someone for posting "Search NOOB" is not an acceptable response.

4. Flaming for someone flaming for someone posting "Search NOOB" is not acceptable.

I cleaned up the thread, and I'm too cold and wet right now to issue warnings. Because in my current mood, those warnings would be 7 day bans. Please keep this in mind.
