Question Turbo question

Hey,
I just had a question about N/A and Turbos. Since buying aftermarket parts requires different parts for each model, If i had a N/A and added a Greddy Turbo Kit would it still be considered a N/A or would i buy parts for a Turbo now?

Eh, you'd still be buying parts for a NA. Any turbo kit made by major manufacturers isn't going to be for any NA, it'll be for the Turbo II.

Just thought about it...I guess you'd be buying a turbo exhaust system.

I read your reply again and im still alittle confused. I thought i saw a kit from Greddy not just a T2 uprgade. Im concerned about the differences between the NA and the turbo engine. Is it just an added turbo or is there more to it.

The HKS and Greddy turbo kits are upgrades for the turbo RX-7, not to add a turbo to an NA. No major manufacturer offers a NA to turbo kit.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news homie, but Search my brother man, you'll find all the answers you are looking for. Maybe a TII complete driveterrain swap would be your answer, or better yet, if you love your N/A motor a whole lot, check out Aaron Cakes three stickies on the top of the 2nd gen forum. He is making his own Turbo Kit so to speak. Good luck man
