turbo oil line

turbo oil line

on my new tii there is a line that is running to it which i assume is the oil line but under that ther us another line that is running downward and is not connected to anything. what the hell is it. is it a breather or what?

The stock turbo should have both a coolant and oil line.

well if it is the water return line then wouldent water be pumping out of it when running. because nothing is comming out of it and it looks like ther is nothing dripping out of it. it is a metal hose that goes almost to the bottom of the car and then heads toward the back of the car with a little peice of rubber hose.

oh nevermind that is not the water return line, do you still have your emissions? If so it might have something to do with that but I've never had mine so I couldn't tell you what it is.

the coolant lines enter and exit the turbo on the sides.
the oil enters from top and exits from bottom.

the passenger coolant line are hard from the engine and then exits to the water pump jack @ the front of the engine and is connect via a 60deg hose.

the oil line from engine is a hard pipe too running arcoss from the front of the engine under the alternator
this exits below and runs forward and connecting just below the radiator.

there is the split air pipe that runs down in the direction of the Down pipe and this is what you may have though it to be.

yea its that split air pipe. i have no emissions. but what dose that spilt air pipe do. and if it dose nothing can i just remove it from the turbo and put a breather filter there?

it pumps air into the CAT for helpng with emissions.
i leave mine on since i still ave all my emissions stuff in place adn just need to install cat when i need to smog.
