Exclamation Serious Business

Well I let my friend drive my car today with his girlfriend so that they can go get there babys stroller & before they leave I tell them 1 thing & that is DONT RACE MY CAR because I keep getting boost creep. And on there way back on the street behind his girls crib all I here is a car bieng pushed at WOT & blow-off valve. So when I here this I run to the front of the house pissed as **** & when they get there the idle on my car us going up & down & the idle sucked when I tried to park, so instead of parking the car, I go around the block one time & at the stop light the idle kept going up & down & the car wanted to turn off. So I come back & park the car, I get pissed & ask his girl what the **** was he doing with my car. After a couple of threats she admits to me that they hoped on the highway & raced a Civic & an Integra & that he let her drive a little bit. I immediately amped out on here because theres no reason for them to hop on the highway when her house is 3 blocks down. But back to the problem at hand, I cool down & when its time to leave, I go to start the car, I accelerate start it, & let it warm up & when I let go of the pedal, the rpm's drop all the way down & the car turns off. So I'm like "****!!" & I already know that my friend is to blame. So I go up to him & tell him "yo, you fucked up my car bro." but hes to drunk to comprehend. So I say **** it & call AAA & get my car towed to the front of my house.

So the question is what the **** could be wrong with my car now if I have to keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep it on. Please help.

Dude, you can same the same thing with out all of the colorful metaphors. Anyway, my wife of 20 years is not allowed behind the wheel of any of my hot rods or mazdas. She has her relic bug vert and she is relegsated to that or her daily driver - thats it. My 19 year old son - business - not allowed to drive my cars. He has his mint FC3C and thats it!

On top of that, why turn your keys over to someone who is toasted?? YOur problem can be one of about 100 different things from a toasted apex seal to a vacuum line that just gave way. You would need to provide more info to get a good idea...

He wasn't toasted when I gave him the keys & now I know not to trust him with my car anymore. And about the color metephors, they make the story read better. I'm gonna try to get in contact with my mechanic to see if he can make a house call. I think its just a vac leak or my ic piping is loose somewhere because if it was toasted apex seal, the car wouldnt stay on when I keep my foot on the gas pedal. I can't provide more info because I wasnt driving the car when the problem started.

Don't let other people drive your car.

BTW; I have drove a car with blown apex seals, it just sounded like crap and would not go faster that 50mph, so just don't think if it runs you don't have a blow apex seal.

I would of punched him in his **** but we've been close friends & neighbors for eight years now & hes also around 6'3" 275lbs. & im exactly 5'7" 153lbs. so if I do punch him, I dont think I stand a chance but seriously lets get back to the topic. I'm actually not that pissed because the motor in my 7 is S4 N/A turbo & I have a freshly rebiult S4 T2 motor & a 13B-RE motor with no injectors sitting around so im not that angry.

It sounds like you let your friend drive the car drunk...(hard to tell since the lack of spelling and grammer), but if you did.. then you are very very lucky he didn't kill someone or something because you would have been legally responsible (and in some states arrested for letting a drunk drive).

Anyway, if the idle is still going up and down (who knows; by how your thing is written) and that is what the problem is, then its probably a sticking BAC valve or Vac leak.

And maybe next time when you start a thread... put the problem in the title instead of some lame half bogus title like you did in this thread

no he said his friend wasn't drunk while driving the 7. All I know is that I would not trust anyone to drive my car. If it is a bad vac leak you should be able to let someone turn your car on and hold the gas down slightly and you get in the engine bay and start listening or you could get some carb cleaner and spray around and if the idle gets higher in one place that you sprayed then there is your culprit. Good luck and no joke you need to let him know that what he did was not cool and the he will never ******* drive your car again! With a big **** YOU! at the end.
