turbo and n/a oil dipsticks

I have 2 1987 fc's. One n/a and one turbo. The oil dipsticks are different sizes in them. The one in the turbo is shorter than the n/a. Does this sound right?

So, for my 2 cars i have 2 different size dip sticks. I would say there is about an inch difference in them. Right now I have, lets say the 14" dipstick in my turbo and the 15" dipstick in my n/a.

Would that mean that I have 1 quart to many in my turbo and 1 quart no enough in my n/a?

well, just make sure they go into the right car.

i forgot who, but someone on this board was using a TII stick on an n/a

so the TII would be longer... not that anyone had any doubts after hailers' post.
