Turbo Install! Help!

I am thinkng about installing a turbo on my 86 RX-7. It has a new j-spec engine that i just had put in, and i am wondering which way i should go. Buy a kit or just mix and match off eBay. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks!

As far as I know all Jspec's are turbo charged anyways but If you are refering to turbo charging a NA then there are plenty of threads dealing with this already.

Go to Aaron Cakes website for turboing a n/a - http://www.aaroncake.net/forum/foru...Turbocharged+NA

For taking out the n/a and installing a turbo motor go to rotary resurrection's site - http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/r...oconversion.htm

Hope that helps.

Matter of fact, just read the whole FC FAQ and go to every site that it links to. Lots of information. https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/faq-fc-frequently-asked-questions-2nd-generation-rx-7-a-181219/

Just to confirm for you, Yes all J-spec 13b's out of a FC in japan are turbo. And we all know the FD and cosmo -13b-RE, 13bT, 13b-REW are all turbo.

There were no NA FCs in Japan.
