turbo inlet size

what is the real outer diameter of the turbo inlet? I'm looking for parts to make a TID. people say to use a 3"x2.5" reducer at the turbo but I've been to like 5 stores including a plumbing only one and nobody has anything in 2.5". however the 3"x2" one is a 2.5" hole.

is the real size 2.5" ?? using the 2" rubber. or do I really need to find a 2.5" rubber. making the real size almost 3" ??

really don't want to pull everything apart till I get all the parts.

stock inlet is 60mm and 1mm = .04 in then 60x.04=2.4in. so no it is not 21/2 inches

It's 60mm OD, and a 2.5" (63mm) ID hose clamps down onto it quite well.

You can fit a 2''-3'' reducer on it if you need to.

cool that's what I was looking for. I bought a 3"-2" reducer and the hole is 2.5". I was trying to find a 3"-2.5" because I thought that's what I needed. but nobody sold them.

Last TID I made was out of 2.5" pipe, which an exhaust shop expanded to 3" at one end for me. That way I could just use short lengths of hose as couplers, 2.5" at the turbo, 3" at the AFM.
