turbo inlet piping

just wondering i have a bunch of piping laying around from my civic for some cold air intake i had. i was wondering if i can use those pipes to make something becayse the intake i have looks so shitty. it has the stock plastic with a cone on the end! i wanted to know what size is the right size to use? also what else do i need to complete this task?

3" piping is perfect. Also if you are keeping the intake inside the engine bay you might want to build an airtight box around it and then feed the box with cold air from outside the car somehow. How much piping do you have laying around in inches?

over two feet of piping! at least if not longer it is two cold air intakes for a civic
