Turbo II going under knife

Well guys, I'm going to start saving parts for my t2 and when it goes under the knife here is a list of thing I will be doing:

-I am going to replace all of the vaccume lines, all intake gaskets, and the rubber turbo hoses with silicone.
-Check the state of the turbo and make sure the waste gate is ported
-Add 720 cc secondaries
-I haven't decided if I am going to do the banjo bolt mod or replace the pulsation dampener, I have to do more reading on that and would appreciate any input.
-I might possibly go from a super air flow converter SAFC II to a rtek 2.0
-Do a full regrounding of the ECU and engine.

I think that is all that I am going to do for now. Is there anything else I should do while I am in there and have the intake off? Just for your information, it is an 89 Turbo II with a S5 rotors and a mid street port with a gutted first cat, not by my choice it was done by the previous owner. It also has a fuel cut defender on it.

you could pull the OMP while you're in there. I ended up having to because I accidentally broke one of the brittle oil lines. your sounds pretty good though. if you can get by with pulling emissions you might do that, too. it simplifies some things and gives you more room to work later.

port the wastegate, but if you still have any cats on there (not gutted) you won't have as much of a boost creep problem.

SAFC stands for Stand Alone Fuel Controller. Also '89's are s5's and s5's do not have a screw in PD. You have to replace the fuel rail.

My bad, that was a typo it's an 88 so it is an s4 and I know what SAFC stands for, but not everyone does.
