i found it but i have different people telling me different things.
one person saying you can put any turbo II engine in the 2nd gen.
then i have others saying the year of the turbo II engine is the only year car i can put it in.
Example: i have a 87 rx7 so there saying i have to but a 87 TII engine?

ALL you need is the parts to support the engine ... you cant mix and match ECU's or a few of the engine components .. so its best to keep the engine/driveline all from the same series, but you can put the entire package into any 2nd gen that you can find ..
basically keep all the parts in the same series (engine/components, driveline, ecu, etc), and as long as you do that you can put that into any 2nd gen chasis you choose
others will follow with specifics im sure
