Turbo II engine swap?

Im thinking about buying an 87 turbo II with 130,000 miles. It seems to be in good shape, but Im afraid the engine might kick out before too long. Does anyone know how much it would cost to fix it, maybe an engine swap? Also what I would likely have to change (best case Vs worst case)

expect to completely overhaul the engine. A couple of sites have them for two or three grand. Engine only. the injectors will need to be changed and perhaps some sensors. The turbo may cost another couple of thousand as well. If you are new to rotaries, I suggest you look for a cheap coup, non turbo to learn on then move up to the turbo. I'm driving my 5th RX-7 and none of the cars I have owned have been turbos for the reason that I don't want the additional expense and headache of dealing with a turbo II.

why do you think it'll blow, just because it's a rotary? Just drive it, if it blows, then get another engine. Jspec engines from FC3s.org cost $900. Rebuilds can cost as little as $1000 (DIY), or as much as $4000-$5000.
