How Do I Tell If The Motor In The Junkyard Is A 13b Turbo II Or Just A 13b Turbo. Because There Is A Mortor Just Sitting There And The Owner Said I Could Have It But I Would Like To Know What It Is.Any ID Number\S Or Anything Would Be Of Help.

 

Look to see if it has 5th and 6 ports or not.

 

I'd bet there aren't many 6 port turbos out there....if it has a turbo, its going to be a 13bt 99.999% of the time.

...Or maybe its a 13b-re or 13b-rew, are you sure it came out of a FC?

 

an RE- would be your wildiest dream! An REW would be shitty cause you know that won't be going into your FC. If it is bare block I have no idea, if it has manifolds on it look for the tell tale n/a saying MAZDA 13B INJECTION. 13BT will have an intercooler and if not the intake manifold will have no markings. Or the n/a throttle body is on the left of the block and the turbo is on the right of the block. Standing in front of the engine with the pullies facing you.
