Turbo II
Took this 88' TII for a drive, engine feels strong and spools up fine, it has 178km on the original engine, the owner says that if you fully warm it up,drive it around a bit and then shut it off and try to start it up 15mins or an hour later if the engine hasn't fully cooled it floods, I'm thinking leaky injectors, also when I gave it some throttle (6k~) I thought I smelt something burning but didn't smell like coolant, maybe burnt oil, any opinions?

Personal predjudice on my part I'm sure.....but I wouldn't leave town with a RX-7 that has that much milage unless I rebuilt it. Then I'd tour the country in it.
Flooding is caused sometimes by a low compression, high milage engine. Not always, but a lot of the time. IMHO

aight well thx for your input, I know my stuff about rx's this will be my 3rd one if I decided to buy it, I'm planning getting it rebuild and streetported but just wondering what kinda things could be wrong with it. Fired up great, warmed up no problem, no leaks no big clouds of anything coming out the tail pipes
