Turbo Go Boom

My turbo kinda granaded last night... SOOOOO I need to know what kind of flange is on the stock manifold on the series 5 turbo motors... anyone know any cheap alturnatives to the stock turbo that can push a little more boost???

The flange is custom to Mazda.

You can get an upgraded turbo center section from Mazdatrix that is supposed to be a little better. Or have a turbo shop hybridize your dead one (you will need fuel mods).

No need to... it wasnt the turbo... it was the motor... just started messing with it... no compession in my rear rotor houseing...

Aaron, where did you find the upgrade turbo centre section? i've never ran across it on themazdatrix website. I even double checked just now. Nothing.

shew, thats good news. . .
well actually, my turbo (not stock) cost about what i might pick up a cheap j-spec for. all in all, that sucks, man. have you figured out what happened?
