Question turbo gasket?

i searched mazdatrix website for a part # but foung nothing..my turbo is apart and the backside(hotside) the plate that is bolted to the rear which directs the exhaust gasses from the wastegate down didnt have a gasket. it looked like there might have been one there at one time but cant seam to find out if there really was. i tryed to describe it as best as i could. let me know if anyone knows what im talking about and if there is supposed to be a gasket and or part # with that. thanks

I don't think a gasket goes there. Make sure the mating surfaces are smooth though, an exacto knife works well for gently scraping away carbon and other junk.

There's no gasket between the turbine housing and backplate.
