turbo

OH turbo

I have an s4 turbo. I was told to upgrade to an s5. whats the driffrence? would i have to upgrade my fuel system and does it hold more boost? i didnt find a good thread for what im looking for. anybody wanna help?

The S5 turbo has a different turbine housing, the rest of it is identical. The S5 turbo boost up to 8lbs, whereas the S4 boosts up to 6.5. I believe the wastegate actuators are different too.

just stick with your s4.. pay 600 bucks and make it a hybrid, you will not regret it

I upgraded to an s5 turbo.

You can do it on the cheap side. All you need is the manifold and hotside of the s5 turbo. My s4 turbo was in great shape so I just combined the cold side of the turbo (s4) to the hotside of the (s5 ) turbo. I also ported the wastegate.

The turbo's themselves are pretty much the same thing.
