Need some help..
trying to figure out if my engine is toast and need a new one or can i fix the one i got its a s4 n/a um i bought it not runin and first rotory but i drained the oil out and forgot to fill it :p..... lol i know but ya i tried to start it didnt fire over filled oil back up but could i have ruined my engine from that??..

IN general terms it would depend how hard you tried... Assuming it wasn't a new build anyway there should have been some residual ' gunk ' - technical term wing it - left that would provide simple friction guard. But it - a very thin film - would break down with any heat - no way of saying how much or how long that would take bar not a real lot! If you ground away at it bearings are probably cactus, but in all probability JUST the mains. Having filled it and presumably run it. Drop the oil again and go through it looking for iron / metal fillings. A magnet can help and the drain plug MAY be magnetic itself and attract filings. If you find mobs ... You have a small job in front of you replacing those bearings.

well the engine didnt start when i first got it and there was a little oil in it it was completely drained just real low... lol well other than checkin the oil is there anything else i should look for?

It should be ok if it didnt fire up. I woiuld fill oil to correct level, prime the oiling system till it has pressure. Then start it.
To prime it, jsut take ouit spart plugs, dissable fuel and spark, and turn the engine over untill you have pressure on the gauge
