The best way to get 'Power' is more than likely to do a swap of some kind. But you need to decide on what kind and how much power you're looking for. If you want to stay naturally aspirated than all you can do is get awesome exhaust and intake. If you want to turbo charge than do a t2 swap. I'm currently in the middle of a t2 swap because my s4 n/a engine blew. Right now I've currently spent $3500 just for parts (used and new) to do a complete swap the correct way. If you do a s4 t2 swap then more than likely it will cost less. But I wanted the extra (20?) horsepower. Prolly in the end I will of spent $4200 or atleast that is my projected goal. Do a shitload of research on what you are looking for then go for it.
