tune up questions..
well ill start out by saying my cars been sitting for about 2years and ive only done work to the suspension and brakes so far.
ive been reading alot and i know about the 60k tune up, all filters, spark plugs, fluids, and everything else listed in the FAQ. now im also gunna drain the gas tank because im asuming the gas is probably bad.
Im basicly asking for tips and anything i might be overlooking, also with the whole replacing hose deal..should i just replace all of them with silicone ones? i know normal hosing will last 5-10years. so im geussing it's just preference?(http://www.mazdaformance.com/Merchan...egory_Code=468)
anyways thanks for any input!

Yep, you got it. It is a matter of preference. The rubber ones have lasted this long, if you replace them they will last as long as you probably have it too. Having said that, I opted to use silicone ones. I just thought they looked nifty.

If you have the stock airbox still, pop off the cover and see what that looks like. You might want to invest in a replacement for that as well, assuming it does not have a washable one.

...as for draining the gas...
I gave my Fuel Tank a good old cleaning at the time of my TII conversion/Walbro Installation.
I removed the Pump Assembly and drained the remaining fuel with a shop vac. *Keep In mind, the hose extended from here to Idaho.* I than poured 2 jugs of Isopropal Alchol In the tank, than drained It. I repeated the process over than poured Fuel In the tankfrom the Jerry can.
If you chose to do this, make sure you have a shop vac hose that Is l o n g and be prepared to have 6mm ss hex head screws on hand for the Fuel Pump Cover with possibly a Sears Craftsman Screw Extractor to remove them.
