Tune-up Procedures
hoping to make this an Archive thread:
What is the hierarchy of tune-up procedures for a car thats been sitting for a while or a newly bought car to make sure its running up to snuff?
Ill start with fluids.
1. Engine oil change. 20w50 Castrol GTX is my oil of choice.
2. Transmission Fluid. Redline ( what else if not readily available?)
3. Rear Diff. Fluid
4. Radiator Flush and Check
5. Brake Fluid
lets here some more items for a FULL tuneup.... ive been seeing too many similar questions regarding tune-ups from new owners and would like to make this an Archive topic.

Denso Plugs are good as well. Just not autolite plugs, since they have the reputition to drop their electrode and ruin your motor.
As far as the tune up goes in addition to the list,
Air filter
Fuel Filter
Belt replacement
Timing
Water trick (2-3 times a week for the first month, and once a month from thereon)
Grounding
and check the functionality of all the sensors.

Cmon guys!
I know a lot of you have other things to mention for this thread. I want it to get to archive. It will be tremendously usefull for new and old users to take a glance at instead of always asking.
Lets get some input on this, hints, tips, brand names, things not yet mentioned.

after a couple weeks on new fluids and full tune-up, drive the car real hard for a couple hours. 7's should be driven hard. that is what they were made for. baby your engine too much and it will gunk up. note that this is an opinion, and probably not one shared by everyone.

clean injectors
replace pulsation dampener
check the voltage of your fuel pump
plug WIRES
replace old fuel lines
don't forget your wheel bearings
and tranny bushings/seals

check if your 5th and 6th ports are opening properly on your n/a car. if not, rip out the actuaters and air pump to save some weight, buy a duel alternater pully, and hold the 5th and 6th ports open with some wire.
orrrrr, u could do it the "right way" (aka, expensive and complicated waste of time way) and fix/buy the actuaters. then worry about not havin enough backpressure to open the actuaters when u mod your exhaust pipe.
