Tryed starting her for the 1st time tonight....
Well, I filled her with fluids and made aure I had the grounds held down tight and you know, the basic's. I turned the motor over a few times with the EGI fuse pulled so that I could prime the motor.
Put the fuse in, turned the key, and it cranked over, but thats all I did. I mean, yeah im bummed, but I mean tomorrows another day ya know. I'll go and double and triple check everything and try again.
I couldnt really do too much see'ing how this day lights savings crap and its gets dark so damn early now and I dont have alotta light to work with.
But hey, I thought that I would just share with you guys that im finally ready to start up the 7 and sometime this week, hopefully tomorrow, I will have her running.

Neway, ive got such a positive look on it cwsttu because I didnt et my hopes up . . lol, I mean i didnt even care if it started tonight, i just wanted to prime the engine and everything, Im sure its something simple that I over looked and I will beat my self up for it later... lol

well guess what, ive got spark... and no fuel..... i cranked the car over a few times, pulled the plugs and nothing, no fuel or no scent of gas on them at all. Tryed cranking the car over with a plug out and my finger over to see if i got fuel on my thumb, and also, nothing.
I dunno about the wiring to my fuel pump, I took a test light to the connecter and the light didnt light up and i tryed multiple grounds. What would you guys suggest I should do?

that might be your low coolant/oil buzzer... If you've just put the fluids in, it might be likely that the coolant hasn't circulated through the motor completely and as soon as it runs for a bit, it'll go off.
Check and make sure you've got the fuel lines plugged in where they're supposed to go. I had the same problem when I was putting in a fresh N/A motor in my car and I think the problem (can't quite remember) was that the fuel lines were reversed? Just a suggestion. Good luck.

I rearranged the fuel lines to see if that was the problem, but still nothing. Im pretty sure the pump isnt getting power for some reason, because its a Walbro and im pretty sure that I would be able to hear it running.
Also, the fuel lines arent pressureizing (sp?) with fuel. I pulled of the supply line from the filter and cranked the engine over and nothing.
and cwsttu, no i did not mess with the fuel harness under the dashboard. at least im pretty sure i didnt. Where is it located so that I can check it out and see if its disconnected for some reason.
Do you guys think if i like rewired the fuel pump or something that it might help? How would I rewire it?
Thanks
