Tried Search, no avail. s4 shifter **** thread size and q about tailight mod

hey, i cant find on here the thread size on the s4 shifter **** thread and where would i find a good selection of ***** that are this size???
also, a buddy used this spray on tinter on his rear tailights of his focus to get rid of the nasty Altezza ish rear look, it worked pretty well, wondering if anyone did this to their rear lights, i suppose it would be called blacking them out or something.

The S4 thread pitch is M12x1.25. It's the same as most Subarus and some Toyotas. Greddy makes a couple, but do NOT buy the Mazda version! Buy the Subaru version for S4 shifters.

S5's and most other Mazdas are M10x1.25 and Hondas are M10x1.5 for reference.

After an extensive search, I can find nothing I like in our thread size/pitch. So what I am doing is taking an old **** I like (in Honda pitch) I have sitting around to a machine shop for rethreading to M12x1.25. If it works, I'll convert more

Edited for word choice.
