Trans fluid help

hello people. So I recently changed the speedo driven gear in my 86 na and I decided to empty all the fluid in the extension housing before I realized that it is separate from the main part of the trans. Now I can't re fill it with new fluid. I've tried going through the shifter hole thingy but that isn't connected to the extension housing either. Just bolted right on. Any help will be amazing as I really wanna get the car running again. Thanks for reading!!!
