Trans actin weird when cold.

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with their trans. When I first startup after the engine and all is good and cool the trans is hard to get into gear and kinda whines a little. Also if you apply pressure to the gear stick you can make it whine a little more. But after it warms up she is good to go. Also when first starting up, this occurs. I put it in reverse and roll back and its almost as if I got the break applied even though I don't. But this goes away as well after warming up.

tranny fluid is to thick, thats y when it heats up it stops making noises cause the fluid will get thinner and thinner the hotter it gets

You want Redline MT-90. NOT MTL!

http://www.redlineoil.com/products.htm

Click on GEAR LUBRICANTS at the top...

It's expensive, but it's magical stuff.

You should not drive your car when the Trans is cold because if you do, you will break the tranny. Trust me I know from experience

The fluid will warm without driving the car.If you leave it in neutral, and engine running, with clutch out, the main drive will turn and gears will get fluid churing.
In fact if, after you start the car, let the clutch out with the trans in neutral, you'll be able to hear the rpm's drop---resistance from the trans fluid.
