Intake Stuff, help me guys

So I went to buy an intake for my car the other day and the guy tried to tell me that his ractive intake was just as good as his K&N, but for half the price! What do you guys think, is a k&N Cone Filter worth the extra money or not? Also, do i just need the Cone filter and bracket or should i get the whole setup, like tubes and all.

Either filter will work fine. Neither of them will give you a very noticable performance increase, so don't get to concerned with that. The K&N will almost certainly filter better, but that really won't make a whole lot of difference either. The best thing about the K&N is that you can clean it, and get it almost back to new condition for the life of the vehicle. Some other filters claim they can be cleaned, but I have had no luck with them. Depending on how much more the K&N is, I would go with it. It will pay itself off in the long run.
