Tranny leak after synthetic

I jsut got my transmission fluid changed on saturday and ive noticed where i park there is oil on the ground....Could synthetic oil caused a leak in my transmission? comeone told me its cause it thinner.

That is a possibility. Did you check both the drain and fill plugs? You might need new tranny seals, as well.

I bet the crush washers were not change or telfon tape not used on the plugs...

Synthetic oils use smaller molecules than conventional oils. This is one of the reasons they lubricate better. Oil leaks that never existed with conventional oil will often develop aftyer switching to synthetic. This is why oil changes do not recommend running synthetic motor or tranny oil after 100,000 miles, unless you were already running it.
