tranny clunks and i hear chafing

whenever i let off the gas, the car clunks and bogs. feels like something is about to break in the tranny or something. and i also hear alot of chafing sounds from the tranny/shifter area. what is this?

sounds like your trany is worn out

or somthings lose (bad)

just rev it to 7k and dump the clutch, if it blows up you know it was about to go
