Tps?

I did the TPS adjustment check you guys keep recommending with my multimeter.
I adjusted it down it was a little high at no throttle and WOT.
Halfway through the range of throttle it surges till the digital multimeter reads OL but it goes back to normal as you proceed on to WOT.
This is an intermittent problem where it only happens when you are in 2nd or 3rd gear and are letting off to decelerate it seems to hiccup and at an idle you only give it enough gas to bring the RPMs up to about 1500 it surges above and below it by about 500 rpms.

Suppose I was looking for a used TPS how much would I expect to pay?

$50-$100 i would say. i'm going by memory, though. i could see how you would say theres only a problem in 2nd and 3rd, but if the TPS tests wacko, then it will always be like that (unless its truly a random intermittent problem which you say its not).
were you getting any other CEL/MIL (if S5)? there's possibilities of other sensors acting up.
did you test it with the voltmeter or ohmmeter?

I just tested it with the Ohmmeter full range from 1 ohm to 5 ohms wide open throttle between the green and the black wires

When you tested it did you do a smooth slow sweep through the entire range of motion to check for dead spots in the TPS?
