Tranny

Wanna buy: https://www.tigerjapanese.com/produc...roducts_id=117 for my 10th ae but it comes wit auto tranny, is there any way to use my stock 5 speed.

you should be able to use your 5 speed tranny with that motor

Thats great news, i figured instead of rebuilding my stock engine, me and my cousin would go halfs on it, would i need to do any modifications to make the motor fit?

keep some money set aside since you may be doing a rebuild anyways.

True, it is a basic rule of thumb that J-specs should be rebuilt. I wouldn't have considered installing our 13b-re without rebuilding it first. I found 2 cracked apex seals when I opened it up.

+1 on this!

1) Mounts.
2) Rebuild.
3) Oil return block off plate, (if he is not going to use the twins.)
4) Counter weight, (you we need to change from auto to 5 speed.)

I'm sure there is more for this list like your turbo setup, vac lines & so on but i hope this helps . Good Luck with the 7 Chris...
