The tragic ending...

Guys, my RX-7 is gone... Yesterday on the way to work a Mercedes slammed on her brakes, so I slammed on mine. I missed her by about 2 ******* inches. Then I realize that I stopped really fastand as I look in my rear view mirror I see a pathfinder comin at me and BAM! My head slapped the back of my chair, body went forward, my seat belt snapped and I hit my head on the steering wheel.

I blacked out after that and came too after the girl who hit me was asking if I was alright. I opened the door, fell out and crawled on the street to the back of my car. The back was completely smashed in. Also the front had some hood damage from scraping the car.

I went to the hospital had an evulsion fracture in my arm(when a muscle(s) contract and rip the bone apart) and I got whip lash. So here I am today, carless and writing this story with a neck brace and an arm sling... btw, I can only type with my one good hand...

Good bye FC3S, my midnight blue RX-7 will be toatalled, sending it off to a worse place... *sniff sniff*

I plan to get another after I get the insurance moneh...

I'll bet that girl was crying her eyes out as you did this.

Sorry about your car.

Bitch...

Definitely speak to your lawyer about all your options.

Your insurance company will write the car off and ticket it as salvage. Purchase it from them, typically costs between $200 and $500 and then part it out to those of us who will allow it's spirit to live on That and you'll probably pocket between $500 and $1000 net profit depending on what condition the components are in.

Yeah, keep dates of EVERYTHING. Keep records of everything doctors have told you.

My sister went thru a really bad accident recently. The insurance adjuster testified my parents were SWEARING at him and being really rude. Funny how he 'lost' the tape he recorded the conversation on. I suggest you record any meetings like that yourself, incase **** like that happens. The adjuster was saying so much bull **** that wasnt true, I was there for every meeting and didnt hear half the **** he was spewing.

Sad to say, but wouldn't that be legal reprocussions<sp?> against Mazda for faulty equipment?
Tell them to give you a new 7 or mazdaspeed rx8 for all the pain and suffering.
Makes me glad my vert has an airbag.
Best of luck, and hope you get to feeling better soon.
