thinking of buying an 87 need help

Im thinking of buying an 87 Rx7. the guy tells me it need new side seals and im totally confused I have never heard this term before. any help would be nice. ohh the car is only $1100 cdn so I think this is a good price, is it? thanks

It needs a new engine or rebuild.

As Aaron stated above, engine needs work. Price totally dependent on condition of vehicle. If it's in good condition, tires, interior/exterior, maybe $1100 Cdn...That's about $720 American dollars. Not bad. Just remember, costs mount up in a hurry. If you can do the work yourself, and have access to a good engine, enjoy the challange.

Try and get him to lower the price... mine was only $1200 CDN and its got a working engine
