TPS Removal Question

I'm gong to the boneyard tomorrow to get a new TPS for my TII from a N/A. I'm kinda dumb so I need someone to explain what I will need remove (to take home) and what I need to disconnect. I can't find any good pictures of the TPS in the Haynes or workshop manual.

Thanks.

One... dont resurrect threads that died 3 years ago.
Two... place a 10mm socket on the bolt at an angle then level it out to remove the bolt. Its not hard you just need to lift the TPS adjust screw out of the way.

ditto

if people weren't ressureting threads, there would be a mass amount of useless thread so please shut it up when someone is really searching cuz all of us yell at noobs that doesn't search

The tps is easy to get off when you have the right tools.

^^^

yeah but you shouldn't discourage someone that might not have the knowledge and/or equipment from asking questions and bringing threads back from the dead

You don't have to prove that you've searched by resurrecting threads. searching reduces new threads by people finding the answers they need on their own. The point is that when I say the date on the first post I almost didn't read any further. After such a long time, just go ahead and create a new thread. Few poeple will continue through searches that go back that far anyway.

Theres nothing wrong with new threads as long as they are not the same old questions that were answered just 2 weeks ago.

one more thing, i wasn't getting in your grill about it just suggesting that you may get better results by not going back that far.

Cant speak about the s4 NA and turbo TPS... BUT

I know for a fact that an S5 NA and turbo TPS are interchangeable. All you have to do is swap brackets. I have personally done this to someone's car already. My theory is that Mazda could jack up the price for the turbo TPS by changing the bracket and part number.
