I was looking at these.....do FC's really need 'em? What are the effects of having them? Down sides? I don't think that pic is even of an FC. 50 bucks sound too cheap to be true, where as I see FD ones are 100+

 

I got those. Haven't gone to the track since or done much launching so I don't know how much of a difference, if any, it made.
