TPS question

TPS question

is turbo and nonturbo S4's throttle position sensors the same?
Also can S5 TII bac work on S4 TII?

I can tell you for sure that the Turbo and Non-Turbo TPS will NOT interchange.

As for the BAC's? I'm *pretty* sure that those can be swapped without a problem. One of the turbo guys will have to verrify that one.

S4's use the same TPS, NA or Turbo.
S5's are specific to NA or Turbo.

Really? Cool. I've never paid much attention to an S4 TII TPS before. I thought is was different the way the S5 TII and NA TPS's were different.

Yeah that's what I though,

I just realized I can go to the mazdatrix website and they have 86-88 tps's listed under the same number.

Ok lets say somebody has cut off a stock tps and spliced in S5 tps on the 87 TII. Could that have damaged the ECU?
