Get someone with an S10 V6 or a blazer. They're common and alot of people have them. Then just rent a dolly from uhaul.

Towing with the saab would be better than the acra they heve some ridiculus 3500 pound tow cap
i just dragged my fc from san antonio to alamo autosports in dallas round trip was 6oo miles i dont think i could have stayed on the hiway with a smaller truck I rented a trailer that wasnt balance well so unloaded it wanted to bounce my truck around loaded it acted a little better i tow with a 4-door F-350 Deezle so i say just suk it up and pay other wise you'll end up with warranty headach and prolly a transmission thats never the same

I guess that something like this would have to do.... whatcha think??

One 6.0 L v8, crew cab 1500HD Silverado.

One 18ft open car trailer.

Two Mazda Rx7 convertables.

800 miles.

80 Gallons of Gas

Two bottles of water.

One Arby's Large Roast Beef and a side of curlys with a Jamocha shake.

One day to do it in.

OH Yeah!!!!

LOL
Later,
Bill

For AAA, they need to be registered. How far are you towing it?

Well, Ive towed my dads 66 chevelle in our POS Fairmont... up a mile long hill. He used to tow his 2 jet-skis with his NA 944. He's towed me in my FB with his 66 chvelle 4 door, with a gutless I-6 and powerglide, many times, up hills, wherever. If it were me, Id probably do it, but I do stupid things like that and usually get away with it. If its either me spending a bunch of money, or taking a risk of spending more money, well, Im a gambling man. Id go for it.

uhaul won't rent you even a dolly let alone a car trailer for an S-10 pickup or most light duty trucks anymore in fact due to their insurance prohibitions these days.

i know because i have tried to rent a simple dolly on 2 occasions to tow an FC with my '90 S-10 4X4 extended cab truck, they said the vehicle was too light. i then pointed out the window to my modded V6 on 9" lift with 33"TSL Thornbirds and they just shrugged. i then went down to a local rental yard and rented a dolly and drove to LA and back over some steep grades with it, go figure, too light my ***...

I'd suggest you get a friend with a truck to tow it.
if i find the individual who installed a hitch on a skyline (not the consumer, people do all sorts of stupid **** with money just cuz) i will make them cry...somehow.

So, we're done here then? Question answered, and most of what's posted is off-topic...
