Towing with a FC?

Hmmm... just thought of something interesting. A 13b shortblock will fit in the rear, right? What's underneath the carpet in the rear? Is that where the spare is stored, and would putting 200lbs there mess anything up if I put some 2x4's running accross the width to distribute weight?

I'm waiting for the local puller yard to have a FC sitting there and for one of their $20 for anything you can carry event to happen. I'm betting I can pull a 13b out of there with some chains if I get some buddies to help. I bet we could probably even pull the engine out of there between 3 of us and not have to pay for them to do it.

Haha, NM, I guess I only have to carry it 20' this year and it's $29.

The spare is actually stored vertically between the trunk bed and the taillights.
