Torqued steering nut and now the steering is locked
This is my first project car and I was trying to install a momo steering wheel but when I torqued the nut to attach the hub the whole steering mechanism turned with it. At first I thought fine I’ll just install the wheel at full lock, but when I tried to turn the wheel it wouldn’t move at all. The front wheels are definitely not turned all the way to the right. Did I just ruin this car?

welcome to the forum!
It sounds like you've activated the security locking mechanism for the steering wheel. If you put your key in and turn it to the accessory or on position it should unlock the wheel. If you cant turn the key jiggle the steering wheel back and forth a bit as you try to turn the key and it should unlock.
