Topic: is anyone using the R1-Spectrum gauges? And have you read about
the new Autometer full-sweep electric gauges?
"Auto Meter introduces new full sweep electric Boost/ Vacuum gauges...The Boost gauges feature an LED warning light and a peak recall function"
This matches exactly what I am looking for in a boost gauge:
1) it's electric, so no big hoses routing through the firewall.
2) it's available in 30 in Hg.-Vac./15 PSI range (I am not running higher boost than that anyway)
3) it has peak recall, very cool indeed.
4) the carbon fibre series somewhat matches our car's gauge cosmetic.
Can you buy it yet? Anyone using this?? What do you think? I also think the new Cobalt series is cool, but alas, they don't have all the features I am looking for.
and who uses the R-1 Spectrum series gauges. They too look cool, but I can not find its web site to read more about its specs!!
thanks,
dewey
