If your car has bad compression take the time to stop driving it and rebuild it asap. Trust me, once it pops its not even worth rebuilding. My rebuild bill is going to cost ~4500 after taxes n **** versus the 2500 Im buying a brand new motor for.

Well gsx is an eagle/eclipse car isn't it?
You probably got a gxl.

My 88 SE hit around 125 then it started gaining pretty slow(152k on engine).
My new 88 GTU has hit about 120 but was still pulling pretty good. I figure i can hit 130.

I did 140 at 8500rpms in 4th gear however im making around 158rwp in my non street ported N/A. Im sure a stock S5 will do 130. Mabey 134 if mazda tested it but that was probly in perfect conditions and altitueds. Plus they probly do a few tricks to it before they go

I've had my 88 Vert up to 135MPH, but my speedometer might be off a little. It reads about 2-3 MPH off at 80. By the way, my only mods are an HKS Intake, Brospeed Exhaust, RB Header, Pre-silencer. I haven't dynoed it yet. That speed was in 5th, I forget the RPM, but it wouldn't go any faster. Even if the speedometer is off, I still think it was close to 130.

I got 138 MPH also...but didn't really feel like trying for more. The front end of the car felt like it wanted to get off the ground. So I let off the gas...or should I say remove it from the floor...hehe
