S4-S5 manifold swap success!

FYI

Well after a week of trying to get my flooding problem fixed...i finally started her up last night...The swap was finished a week ago but was unable to see results until last night...
Low end torque has improved...
i can chirp 1st in an AUTO
haven't been able to find out about high end because i need to design a way to get six ports and VDI to open.
ie...RPM switch or something

Also i need to go back and find some vacuum leaks oh well

I followed the instructions on http://homepage.mac.com/carldavis/intake/intro.html

I did however use the S5 vacuum nest to make sure i could link up the right line to the right part! that was the only diversion from the orginal insructions...
It took me about Three days to comeplete the swap...mainly do to cleaning a lot and mostly the damn vacuum crap!!!

I am happy with the results though...just can't wait to get it fully operational!!

Did you use the Accelererated Warm up Valve and Its attachments too (metal hoses)? What about the Main Air Inlet hose?

I had a complete refurbished s5 Intake I sold. I was going to do this setup myself, but found out you lose more than you gain. i.e 10hp lost but regained after 7000rpms. Anyway, glad It's working out for you though.
