Top Radiator Panel?

Does anyone know a source for these anymore? CF or aluminum. I am just looking to see what's out there and prices.

Thanks.

^ Yah, I have had issues with Corksport in the past. That, and the $175 price tag, makes it a non-option. I meen, 175 for an aluminum sheet? Are they f'ing crazy?! Too bad that Preacher caracter was such a basket case. At least his were around $60.

Anyone else making these?

They are on Ebay now, but make your own if you want to save some cash.

Wow. Can't believe I managed to overlook that on their site. That is more along the price margin I was talking about. Shipping is only $12 to N.Y.

I still can't get past the earlier issues I have had with Corksport though. If I could find a source for one in CF at a reasonable price, I would be stoked.

Don't mean to thread jack but I will anyways. Would some 1/4 in plexiglass work for this or is that gonna be to thick, weak or what not. Since I have a bunch of this material laying around and need something to do with it, what do you guys think to thick, not flexi enough or just the wrong stuff.

I wouldn't use that. I think it would crack to easy and would look like crap after a few months of wear. I used a thin sheet of metal and painted it black and I think it looks great.

I usually do build ALL of my own stuff. In fact I have 3 vehicles worth of my own customizing at my house right now. Unfortunatly, I don't have the time to make any parts right now. Hell, I even have the aluminum sheet in my basement left over from building the fuel cells for a fiew of my rides. But, to make a template, cut it out, test fit it, possibly trim it again, grind it smooth and then polish it, would take me the better part of a day. Either I spend $60- $90 dollars for one pre-made, or I loose $300 worth of a days salary. You do the math.
Besides the fact that I was leaning towards a nice CF one.

Not jaded, just wary. Long delays in receiving parts. Customer service with their heads up their a$$es. Difficulty in returning parts.
This was a long while ago, though. Hopfully they have gotten their acts together by now. However, their products are usually first rate. I even have their front and rear strut bars on my car now. Just don't want to deal with them directly anymore.

From what I've read after a while the CF panels tend to warp from the heat, might be something you want to look into....

As far the aluminum ones go I had this one I bought directly from SingalAuto
http://www.signalautousa.com/racopama.html

The quality and fitment was perfect and hell being singal auto its mad tyte jdm yo. But yeah it was a really nice rad panel and I felt it was well worth the 120 shipped or so I paid for it.

Good to know arkady151. Thanks for the info. The more I get, the better of an educated decision I can make.

Bump from way back. I kinda lost track of this. The guy who was selling the CF panels was kicked off of ebay. Anyone know of any other CF options?

+1... If I got a CF one, I'd still paint that bitch black. One or two CF pieces on a car is tacky as ****. Black always matches SOMETHING in an engine bay.

Screws, pop rivets....I have even seen someone use quarter turn zeus fasteners for easy removal.
