TO4 TURBO oil lines and coolant???

i am installing my to4b turbo on my engine, now i have a question for those of you who has a turbo other than stock on your rex.

OIL DRAIN. do i need to get a flange made for the drain adapter on the engine or do i tap the aluminum cover.

COOLANT.
do i get a flange made or tap the LIM for the turbo coolant feed.

i want to try not using gear clamps and rubber hoses,i rather have compression fittings or hard pipe connections.

what have you guys done.

turbonetics makes flanges that you can hook up to steel braided line for the coolant in.

Problem with the flange is its to thinck to bolt to the block, so i got a dremel and cut boxes out of the side to get it to work.

if you get a banjo fitting and to copper crush washers you can use the you can get a steel braided line from the stock oil in line that comes out of the top of the block into the turbo

oh and for the oil dump you have to find a heavy duty hose and just clamp it to the stock deal, becareful not to make kinks!

Also if you need to find a high heat tollerant rubber hose (like a thick fuel line) and get a an connector that you push into the end of the hose; then clamp onto the stock coolant out location near the water pump

hope i could help

if you have any questions drop me a pm ( i wrote this up real quickly sorry for not being very detailed)

does somebody just make a kit for all this that works the first time with no modification or bullshit parts hunting involved?

just tap the hole to whatever size and get an adapter fitting from jegs or summit.

Longer studs, or even better, new bolts or cap screws, would've looked a lot nicer.

Personally I'd try to get a flare fitting that screws onto the end of the factory hard line. I don't see the point in running a whole new braided line when a superior line is already there.
