TMIC water cooled with nozzle/water pump ?

Hi there,

Is there any try at water cooling the TMIC with an added water mist system?
If yes how it was done?
Cheap kit, easy DIY tips...

I've my rear glass tank & pump in hand (faulty contact or cut wire at command so removed as it's not a security or performance device) and such idea came to my mind...

Thanks!

Using used parts as front hl whaser pump and maybe the SARD Nozzle at TMIC front should do it?

Intresting. I'm curious to see if someone has done this. It may help in certain situations like waiting in line at the drags.

Also don't wrx's have this setup from the factory?

Yea the STI came with it from the factory starting in 04 so maybe you could look into how that was done on those cars

My buddy used his rear whiper pump and hooked a switch and poked a bunch of holes in a line and wrapped it around his TMIC.

It spritzes water a little bit, give him a PM at Andy87t2 and see how much he likes it.

Well it must be effective if they put it on from the factory.

Can anybody chime in who has seen this or has done it?

I'll go for a real mist-able nozzle or won't
But I also wanna try with the pressure from the rear pump.
