Exclamation Tired Of Seeing FOGGED UP plastic tail lights, side marker lights, etc?

$7 bucks is all it costs to clean those old lenses up. Meguiar's makes a plastic lense cleaner called PLASTX. I don't have a camera or I would post pic's like an infomercial's before and after.

I used something I got at an auto parts place (advance auto?). It has foam pads with an optical grade polishing compound and an adapter to put it on your drill. You just run it over the lights, and they are good as new!
Here is a before and after shot: guess which light is which!

Its called super fine sandpaper... really cheap lasts forever. Start with 350 grit, go to 400, then 500.

Just use sandpaper... think about the product you are spending money on. It's an abrasive product that eats a fine layer off of you headlight... With super fine sand paper you can get a ultra smooth polished finish that wont oxidize back up.

Maguiar's cleaner still works quite well, and then you can use their plastic polish to finish the job.

Yeah but the sand paper solution is permanent, where as Maguire's stuff is temporary... the oxidation will come back.
