Tire Size, quite odd.

On friday I ordered a set of 2 Kuhmo Supra 712 (205/50/R15) because of numerous threads on this topic.

Oddly enough, my car is currently running 215/60/R15! on aftermarket alloys (probably ordered at the dealership).

Even more odd...tirerack.com thinks that the oem tire size is 205/60/R15?!?!?

So, they put my order on hold because the sizes didn't match up. Their customer service is outstanding. Their prices are outstanding. I recommend them to anyone in the market for tires.

So....what is the correct tire size for a 15*6.5 rim??

Mine has 205/60/R15s on it...

Go to the wheel, brake, and suspension forum, there's a thread in there somewhere about wheel fittings, should be informative.

I use 225/50-15 for my vert's 15x6.5 BBS wheels, but the correct size is a 205/60-15.

They have the worst customer service of any company I have delt with to this day. They held my order because they felt like it, "called" my billing address over an hour away to confirm the order (which they didn't) and made nothing so much as an apology when I called them to see where the hell my rotors and pads were. I ended up canceling the order, and I won't try to deal with them again.

The 'vert rims are the only 15" wheels that are 6.5" wide. The rest of the 15" wheels were 6", and the turbo2 wheels were 16x7" The 15" wheel OEM equipment was 205/50r15.

no, they used the same wheels as the USspec, and were also 15x6.5.

BBS never ever made a one piece that was 16x6.5 OEM or aftermarket. The only thing close to that was the 16x7 BBS that was found on the infiniIV

where do you keep getting crap info like this???
