Tinted verts?

any pics or opinions on tinting on a vert?

considering it for my '89 (blaze red) ... would probably go 25-35% all round.

I run 35% on my rear window in my vert.

Makes a big difference on sunny days that you don't have the top down.

I wish I lived somewhere where I could legally tint my windows.

Mine was tinted when I bought it. Inspection dude made me take the side windows off. It looked cool but I think I prefer it without the tint.

Inspection dude, like a cop or smog inspector? Can a smog inspector make you take your front tint off? I love my front tint. It really helps with reducing glare.

My vert came with a tint, didnt realize it was slightly purple till after I bought it though lol. The darker the tint the more it compliments the top in my opinion. I got sides and back.

I would never tint the side windows because IMO it would look a bit silly with the roof down and the windows up. Even with them down the front quarter-light glass is fixed, so it would still look odd. I like the rear window idea though. Pics please Mark!

When we got the vert, it had on sides and rear. But the tint had gone to crap so it was like looking through purple haze. Cannot even see out of it. I so far have gotten the old tint off of the sides, but the back is a pita. They double layered it. I need to find something that will let it release from the glass. I don't want to get in there with a razor, because I don't want to mess up the rear defogger.

Later,
Bill.

I have 15% all around. My tint guy also made it so it's only 1 sheet on the back window instead of 2. I love my tint and cops here don't really mess with me for it.

I agree for the same reasons.
