of course the timing doesn't matter! you might as well not even put the CAS back in.

are you serious? good luck

Purchase a Rotary Rebuilding DVD & Factory Service Manual and follow it to the tooth. Following these two items will ;

1. Save you countless hours of doubts and questions about your own work.
2. Lessen chances of rebuild failure
3. Answer your other questions
4. Save us from posting into more ridiculous threads.

Good luck

The engine itself can only go together one way. But some parts can be installed backwards like the CAS drive gear.

In the Archives, you will find two rebuild threads. One is by me, one is by Iceblue. While they both show modified engines, the assembly procedure is the same.

the rotors only go in one way. And they spin around the eshaft so you can't mess up the timing with the rotors. Like Aaron said the only piece you can really put backwards is the CAS drive gear. Everything else the motor won't go together.
