Tii UIM

What all do you guys have on those 6 nipples, that maximizes all that they utilize? I want the back three to be something not to important so they can basically be blocked off, since their kind of a pain to deal with. Like so I got my MAP going to the farthest one on the UIM and then there is the big one thats right by the BAC if removed, and then the brake booster, then on the back where there are three, one is bigger which is the middle one and I have that going to the oil filler breather. Then the lowest one going to the FPR and the top giong to the nipple on the LIM right before the motor. What about the three on the front? I know there was a diagrahm somewhere, but I'd rather not use those gay vacuum caps that always break over time.

those nipples dont see the vaucum you need for your FPR. they serve to work your oil injector air bleeds ( primary and secondary, Top, and Bottom ) and the middle one ( larger ) is for your oil injector vacum spider.
theres one in the middle of your LIM thats for your FPR

what you can do tho, and what i have read others have done and intend to do my self next time i remove my UIM is drill the three on the front side all the way thou so that they see boost/vacum and then you one for my gauge, one for my pressure sensor, one for my BOV and use the one one the back of the UIM for my EBC solenoid ( to me this is the most important but all 4 will see equal boost/ vacuum levels anyway.

On a series four, turboII, there are three and in my case four nipples one above the other (backside of the throttle body). The very bottom one is the only one that is vacuum.

On a normal series four turboII, the FPR gets its vacuum initially from the SLANTED nipple on the inboard side of the intake manifold. It goes from there to the solenoid and from the solenoid back over to the FPR itself.

You probably removed your ACV and installed a blockoff plate. Bad move. That was where the boost sensor got its vacuum. What you can do is thread a nipple on the blockoff plate to match the hole that supplied vacuum to the boost sensor on the original ACV.

Talking series four turboII, NOT series five.

I have an E6k with 3 bar MAP and 1000cc injectors with an FD pump. Its a half-bridge also with a T04e. Basically the motor is pretty stripped to the bone with just the very essentials. Yes I mean't the FPR goes to the slant one and the one after that, before the engine goes to the nipple on the back.

This is wierd. THe car ran the other day, but I kindof had all those nipples getto rigged, like a hose attaching two, so it was probably going around the throttle plates. But now I have the things blocked off except the ones i'm using and it doesn't want to start. I think when I adjusted it like that, there was alot of vacuum leaks so now its way too rich or something.
