Flooding question

Before anyone automatically replies with "check the FAQ" I have already done that to no avail.

My 87 T2 isn't starting for some reason. I think it was when i was working on it and pulled it into the garage just started it up pulled it in and shut it off. I pulled the plugs and their pretty drowned. This is the weird part though, it's the top and bottom toward the front that seem to be getting the most fuel on them. The other two are wet but not to the extent that the front plugs are. I tried pull starting it today and the car still wouldn't hit even when being pulled at 20mph in 2nd gear.

ANyone have any ideas on what might be causing the car to not start? I am wondering if I have an ignition problem that is keeping the car from getting any spark. Obviously it's getting plenty of fuel but it's like i'm not getting any spark. If anyone has any ideas i'd appericate it.

One Thing That You Have To Know About A Rotary Engine Is That You Have To Let It Warm Up All The Way Before You Shut It Off!!!!! Becuase If You Don't It Will Flood Out And It Could Take Up To A Week Or 2 To Go Away .

clean the plugs dry fire the engine with the plugs out to unflood it. then put a oz of atf into each rotor housing in the trailing plug hole "this is not needed most of the time".put the plugs back in and it should fire up oh yeah make sure u got your wires on right

Don't use ATF. Just use oil.

You can search for "unflooding" for the complete procedure.

If the car continues to flood, then there is another problem. Most common cause is dirty injectors and/or low compression.
