TII trans in an NA

OK.. ok... so putting in the FD trans is not going to work with out a lot of engineering. So ill go with the The TII trans. Why do i want to put in a TII trans in my NA gxl you ask? well, later things like supercharges are planed. And the NA trans is just not going to last long for that. Anyway, what is exactly needed to put a TII trans in a NA? So far i got this down: Trans, T2 flywheel, T2 clutch, Driveshaft, and diff. Is it the whole diff houseing of just the diff inside? What else do i need.

i believe it is the whole diff and halfshafts. I also think you'll need the front counterweight if your t2 flywheel is from a different series FC.

guys, correct me if I'm wrong.

ah ok, why not just beef up a N/A tranny? Pineapple can do it, they did it to a miata tranny and made it support 300 HP, and I dunt think you'll be running a SC more than that? Unless ur going with a turbo setup, then jus do a j-spec swap and get the tii tranny.

Because it'll be cheaper to get a TII transmission than "beef up" the NA one. To do the swap, you need:

-TII tranny (duh)
-TII flywheel
-TII clutch and pressure plate
-TII starter
-TII slave cylinder
-TII driveshaft
-TII differential
-TII axle-shafts (half shafts)

Aaron got it all listed. Thats what I used when I did mine.

Why not beef up the n/a? I have an extra T-II tranny that I will sell for $150. Pineaple can't beef it up for that cheap and I guarantee it still isn't as strong.

I've also got a TII tranny (from an 87') in my 91' NAFC, and Aaron Cake mentioned everything you'll need.

Yep, definitely. I have an 87' TII tranny in my 91' NA FC, and I've been driving it like that for over a year now with no problems.
